Winds of Life: Windmills Across Nebraska
Cozad is participating in the Winds of Life: Windmills Across Nebraska and
has both a display of windmills at the 100th Meridian Museum and a Sculpture
that will be on display between our two museums. The display in the
100th Meridian Museum includes: photographs, paintings, wood carvings, metal
windmills, windmills made from wheat and all mediums in between. This
display will continue through Labor Day.
Trudy Geiger, Windswept Reflections
Trudy, a Cozad, NE, artist , writes, “Picture in your mind the wind
sweeping across the plains with such force that all in its path surrender
to its power, bending to survive the winds fury – ‘Windswept’”.
“In Nebraska, life is ever changing – the people, the land yielding
the fruits of man’s labor and its natural beauty, the seasons, the
animals and the wildlife and I wished to mirror this – ‘Reflections’”.
“Windswept Reflections” is Trudy’s picture of a contemporary windmill that represents the concept of “Winds of Life: Windmills Across Nebraska”.
THE WINDMILL WILL REMAIN IN COZAD!
Thanks to all those that donted.
